Mischa Barton: It's All Gone Pear-Shaped!

Pictures of Mischa Barton sunbathing on an Australian beach showcasing her cursed cellulite-ridden thighs and butt prompted the actress to cover up for a red-carpet appearance - although hiding her bottom half in a rather unflattering pair of trousers was arguably an equally painful sight.

The 22-year old’s shocking cellulite snaps swept the internet, with many left in disbelief at her dimply legs, but why is she suffering from the dreaded orange peel syndrome at such a young age?

Well it can be caused by a bad diet high in fat, carbohydrates, salt, or too little fiber. Smoking, lack of exercise, tight clothes, high heeled shoes, and sitting or standing in a single position of long periods could also play a factor. We all know how much Mischa likes her skinny jeans and cigarettes!

Mischa has since said that she is not upset the dreaded pictures emerged, and made a public appearance at the 5th

Annual Candies Foundation 'Event To Prevent' Benefit, held at Cipriani in New York.

However, she hid her cottage cheese thighs under a pair of high-waisted trousers which brought attention to her hips for all the wrong reasons. We can’t decide which is worse, cellulite or bad fashion. What do you think?
